Who we are

Flowers That Feed is a business by Elli Blaine. It started with an impulse, built upon years of loving flowers and people.

One Friday, I felt overwhelmed. I wanted to DO something more. Something for people. Something to release the weight of the world and to create something beautiful.

I made bouquets from flowers harvested from my yard, and set up a market tent at the end of my drive. I shared that any proceeds would go to families in need. A few friends from the neighborhood graciously bought a couple bouquets.

A few months later I walked into our local grocery store and asked if they could use any flowers to sell retail. They generously accepted. It was a boost of confidence in my ability to craft bouquets. And felt so good to give a little back to others.
